From the latest council meeting that has been held earlier today 17th/August at the Makerere University main campus, it has been proved that the non-staff have agreed with the President’s promise of compensating their Shs. 28 Billion by October this year. It is further claimed that the President has instructed a directive to the Financial Minister ‘Hon. Mathew Kabashaijja’ to keenly consider salary increments to these University workers within the same month. This meeting has raised chances of highly anticipated New Year semester kick-off official opening date to next week. Keep on-line for more stories.
