11 people dead after earthquake hits East African countries

Eleven people have been reported dead in Tanzania after a 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit parts of East Africa (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and some parts of Kenya) on Saturday, September 10.

Kenyans panic after massive earth tremors

The earthquake is said to have originated from the shores of Lake Victoria

In Uganda, the tremors were felt in Kampala, Entebbe, Kasese, Jinja,Lira, Tororo, Masindi, Kasese, Rukungiri, Amolator, Bushenyi, Nakasongola and Soroti omong others.

In Kenya, the tremors were felt in parts of Nyanza, Western Kenya and Rift valley
