44 people confirmed dead while dozens injured in a plane clash in Wau South Sudan

44 passengers had been confirmed dead in the plane crash in Wau South Sudan while dozens survived with serious injuries in a plane clash that happened in Wau South Sudan.

According to the Director of Wau Teaching HospitalDr. Edmond Sebit, several people injured in the plane crash have been taken to the health facility for treatment. He says the plane belongs to South Supreme airline. The crash is believed to have happened when the plane came down to land after flying from Juba to Wau. 

Authorities are yet to give details of the number of casualties, but South Sudan’s Eye radio is reporting that nine people were pulled alive from the wreckage to be taken to hospital.
