Eddy Kenzo donates Shs. 500,000shs for former Express FC player Onyebuchi’s operation

According to the liable info reaching our news desk this morning, prominent music icon one ‘Eddy Kenzo’ has donated sums of Shs. 500,000 to facilitate former Express FC player Vicent Onyebuchi’s operation.

Onyebuchi is a Nigerian born who came to Uganda sometime back with an aim of lifting the country’s football league across the world as he played for Express FC. The unfortunate moments blew-off his life dream of playing in one of the biggest leagues in Africa found in South Africa as he sustained a serious injury in the Express FC match against Proline FC last season.

He was rushed to hospital as serious treatment to his leg was immediately commenced. Consequently for such long, never did the medical attendants notice this had affected most of his leg ligaments to the borne than they had earlier examined until in the recent months when his situation worsened.

This worsened his life as it was the same time his contract with the club had expired and Express FC CEO Hon. Nakiwala Kiyinji was not willing to facilitate his medical bill anymore. Last week, the fundraising campaign for his medical operation bill started and most of the ex-players for the national team and Express FC contributed greatly to his better health rather than chopping off his leg as it was earlier medically prescribed if he was not operated. Apparently, his operation is expected to take place today at Corsu Rehabilitation Hospital Entebbe. Wishing you a quick recovery.
